Tucked away in the quiet village of Chipperfield sits an establishment that creates a relaxed atmosphere and offers a café by day and a bar & bistro by night.

Blackwell's Café & Bar - Bistro, located on The Common,Chipperfield  is a quaint and laid back venue that has established itself as one of Chipperfield’s favourite places to visit.

Since we took over the venue in May Two Years ago, they have noticed a rise inTrade after trying to stamp our own authority on the establishment.

Overlooking the nearby church, the venue has a great daytime cafe and at night

a popular bar plus newly opened Bistro,

continuing Blackwell's dedication to offer top quality food,

Open until 11.00pm during the week and 12.00 midnight on Friday and Saturdays.,

As well as a comfortable bar that serves beers, wines, ciders and ales (including a guest one), there is regular entertainment at the Common venue.

However, The membership simply offers discounts on food and drink. Anyone is welcome to come and have a drink or a bite to eat and I would encourage locals to give us a try.”

The main aim of the venue is to ensure the whole family feels at home within its four falls, while providing quality food and service in an environment that makes you want to come back for more. Families can be safe in the knowledge that children’s needs have also been catered for, with a kids play area on site.

Blackwell's is also available for hire, so if you have a wedding reception, christening or other occasion, the Chipperfield venue can cater for your needs and contribute to your special day.
